Hamas is giving the Arabs of Gaza Cr*p, literally! Oh, and the US is still trying to give money to terrorists

There was an incident in Gaza yesterday, a cesspool containing a LOT of sewage, had a wall on it collapse and sent a tidal wave 6 feet high onto a Arab settlement, wiping it away.
I'll admit, I don't know how to feel about this. On the one hand it's a humanitarian crisis, and the loss of life is sad, but on the other hand this is a perfect example of how the PA Arabs are not productive members to the world. The wall on this cesspool that collapsed, had had chunks of sand being taken out of it since the Arabs were given free rein in Gaza over two and a half years ago. The Arabs (who, if not a member of the government, live in unbelievable poverty) were looking to make some money and took the sand from the wall to sell to the contractors so they could feed themselves and their families.
I think this says a lot about the PA Hamas-lead government. As I said last week $700 million that had been given as aid money, never reached these Arab common folk. As we know the school system breeds hatred of Israel, Jews, and the US and the West. They are not teaching these kids ow to be productive members of society, they're teaching them how to be killers, and how great it is to become a Shahid, a martyr, when they grow up. These kids, if they don't blow themselves up first, when they reach adulthood, come to realize that they have a family to provide for (I'm guessing) and they realize they have never been given a chance to earn a livelihood, and have to look for any way to make money to live on. They don't live in big houses, and drive nice cars like the government folk, they live literally in poverty
But what really is incredible is that as soon as the news came out that the Arabs were in trouble, Israel jumped to provide aid for them.
And how were they repaid?
Some Arab spokesperson said that this was obviously Israel's fault.

This actually is a very interesting situation. I'm about to break the workings of the brain down into 2 parts: the front brain and the back brain.
The front brain is where we use all of out 'higher abilities,' such as speaking, writing, critical thinking are located.
The back brain is what deal with our 'animalistic' traits, such as the need for food, water, comfort, our 'external' needs.
I have a 4 year old brother, and it's amazing how, no matter what happens, he can't be wrong. It's obvious that he's at the age where he's really fighting between letting his 'animal' side take control, or using his higher brain functions, which if you think about it, are much harder to control.
There's usually a brain change that happens at this age, and it seems that the Arabs who live in Gaza have never graduated from this stage of brain functioning.
We are all brought up (hopefully) with a basic sense of right and wrong. It's wrong to kill people. It's wrong to steal. etc. The children who grow up in the Arab-occupied territories of Gaza are never taught the basic moral values we are all taught. This is obviously leading to some serious, I would say child abusing, problems. As they grow up they become 'stuck' in this animal side of the brain, and it replaces the 'higher' brain functions.
What unfortunately might happen, is that Gaza will turn into a poverty stricken, disease ridden area and the people there will have to be quarantined. You can imagine how much the world will love it it Israel has to quarantine, possibly exterminate Arabs who have contracted a spreading disease.
Meanwhile the US government still thinks that they should continue giving weapons to Fatah. Aaron Klein reported from Gaza and has exposed what the members of the 'moderate' Fatah are up to. They have turned many areas of Gaza into terrorist training grounds. This doesn't even include all of the other terrorist organizations that are stationed in Gaza, Islamic Jihad, Hamas, possibly even Al Quada. . . they are turning the area into a breeding ground for terror. Congress had voted to give Fatah something like $80 million under the 'carefully researched' information the Condi Rice has presented to them. They became aware of the fact the most of the money was not going to help the Arab civilians, but were being used to buy weapons and conduct terrorist training camps. Condi convinced them that the money would not go to terrorists and that it would be used for 'good,' so the money should be given to Fatah. What was not discussed however, was that most of the members of Fatah are openly members of the Al Aska Martyr's Brigade. They also, as I said before, have the same plan in their charter as all of the other terrorist organizations: to destroy Israel. The only difference between them and the other terror groups, is that they say 'we'll negotiate, and then we'll destroy Israel.' All of the other groups won't even offer the chance of negotiations, so of course both the Israeli and American governments love to negotiate, so they blindly jump at any chance of bringing peace, without taking a good critical look at the entire situation.

Why I want to make Aliyah

Someone asked me yesterday why I wanted to make Aliyah, and after this stupid question said that America is a much better for the Jews then Israel will ever be.
I responded like this: America is a footnote in Jewish history, and no matter what happens here, it always will be. Israel, as we see, is front page news everyday, and all of the major Jewish events of the last half-century have either happened in the country, or they were about the country. I told him that I want to be a part of Jewish history, not someone quietly observing from the background.
He responded to me by pointing out how difficult it would be to live in the land of Israel. First I would have to learn a new language, then all of the bureaucracy of the government, how difficult it is to get a job, how we are under constant bombardment by Arabs, how the whole world hates us, etc.
I responded by telling him about the book of Joshua. How, right at the beginning of the sefer, it says that immediately following the Jews entry into the land of Israel, all of the men had a Brit Milah. Why? Because they had never been given one while they were in the desert, the reason being that it was too dangerous for a new born baby to be given a Brit while traveling.
Notice the world ‘all,’ this means every single man who was a part of the B’nai Yisrael when they entered the land of Israel, had not been born when the Jews left Egypt.
What’s the significance of this? That none of the Jewish men that had left Egypt merited to set foot in the land of Israel, only their children were able to.
I told this guy that’s exactly what I want to do. I want my children to be able to live their lives in Israel without having to go through any of the ‘absorption’ process, not having to learn a new language, a new culture etc. They would already have been born in the environment so there would be nothing to get used to!
On the note of how much the world hates us (and all of the other factors he mentioned) I say ‘Bring it On!’ I’m living in MY HOMELAND and if the rest of the world has a problem with that, then they can stuff it. I’m not living in their country anymore, which means they can’t tell me what to do anymore! I answer to NO ONE, except the G-d of Israel, and the only way to fully be able to serve G-d is in Eretz HaKodesh, and if this guy has a problem with wanting to live his life to the fullest spiritual potential then he had better rethink his priorities!

On another note, I get ticked when I hear people talking about mitzvot that can only be done is Eretz Yisrael, and saying ‘when Mashiach comes, and all of the Jews are living is Israel.’
For Mitzvot that require the Beit Hamikdash, I understand, but for other things (birchas kohanim and terumah, for example) I just don’t get it and I mentioned this to someone. The response I got was typical of any American Jew, “Well, when Mashiach comes, all of the Jews will be living in the land of Israel anyways, so we don’t have to worry about that until them.”
I’ve been searching for one place where it says that after Mashiach comes the Jews should make Aliyah.

I have yet to find one.

The only things that I find are a little more immediate, pesukim that say that it is a mitzvah to settle the land. Period.
There is no ‘after Mashiach comes’ following that statement. Just ‘Settle the land.’

Period.

This is the first time in the last 2000 years that any Jew, anywhere in the world, can get a free, one-way ticket home.

What I want to know is why they aren’t?

Actually I know the answer to that question, it’s very simple. Jews of America of comfortable. Why would they want to give up their big house, with a big backyard, 2 cars, nice job, to come to a war torn country like Israel?
I look to put it like this. Israel is Eretz Hakedosha, it’s a holy land. Where America is a country where the physical is worshipped, external beauty.
There are 2 kinds of Jews, the one that wants to live the spiritual life, and the one that lives the physical life.
Now obviously Israeli Jews like their physicality, and there’s no problem with them going to America or Europe for a vacation, but as a Jew do we want to live a spiritual life, with a little bit of physicality, or do we want to live a physical life with a little bit of spirituality?

Homesh and the exposure of the 'evil' UN

There's an article on Arutz Sheva today http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/121975
about a group of Jews retuning to Homesh, one of the communities where Jews were thrown out of during the Expulsion (Disengagement) of 2005. I commented on this yesterday, but what I want to post today are the captions that were under the above pictures, which were all taken from the top of the hill of Homesh.
From the top:
  • A rather commanding view from Homesh.
  • View of the strategic Hadera power plant, 20 miles away - within Katyusha range.
  • Clear view of Tel Aviv skyline. It's 20 miles away, within Katyusha range.
  • View of Afula from Homesh. It's 21 miles away - within Katyusha range.
This gives you and idea of what the enemies will see, and what they could hit, when they are looking to smuggle ketyusha rockets into Judea and Samaria.
On another note, I just was sent a video of this past Friday's UN meeting, and it was one of the most outrageous things I had ever seen in my entire life. Hillel C. Neur of the United Nations Watch, said the UN is ignoring the human rights violation that is going on within the PA Arab controlled areas. Not by Jews, but by the Arabs themselves. This is obviously going exactly against what the UN was founded on and its purpose, "Human dignity and rights." He said, in my opinion, something very humorous. The UN council sits around all day and listens of tons of stories of oppression, torture, and violence against women, and what does the UN do about it? Nothing!
But wait! That's not true, they have enacted resolution after resolution, all condemning one country. Israel.
All the while Hamas and Hizbullah are completely ignored. Meanwhile millions of people are continuing to be oppressed around the globe, but who does the UN like to pick on? Israel. The UN loooooves to condemn Israel.
Meanwhile women in Darfur are being raped, and the men are being killed. What does the UN do about it? Nothing.
Tibet
Chechnya
Darfur
Iran
All of the oppressors in these countries, along with the UN, claim that they are for 'Palestinian rights.'
But do they really care about 'Palestinian rights?'
130 Arabs have been killed by PA forces in the last few months (3 times the combined total that were killed when the UN held 'emergency' sessions when Israel killed some in self defense.
Yet Ahmadinajad says nothing about this. Why is there no one condemning the Arabs for the murder of their own people? I'll tell you, because Israel wasn't involved, and could not be blamed.
What's very funny is that the UN hears these stories, they just choose to ignore them. Why? Not because they care about PA Arab rights, they just want to belittle Israel.
This was a summery of what the UN watch spokesman said to the UN, and I thought he was very good at opening the stable door, and letting the horses out.
But what got my blood boiling and really exposes the UN as the evil people they are, was the response by the President of the UN.
First he (for good reason) said that he would not say 'thank you' for the statement, and continued by being apologetic that he was 'not in a position to thank him for his statement.' Then he promptly said that if the organization says any such comments in the future, they should use 'proper conduct and language' when addressing the council, and (this one I love) if the organization uses 'improper conduct,' it will be taken out of the 'official' UN records. (IE Garbage)
What does this prove? That the UN can't take heat for one thing. Here you have a guy who is putting them on their toes and their response is 'if you make similar remarks again, we're going to pretend you don't exist.
I bet when these people learn about Homesh, they will immediately try to find some way to condemn Israel once again. (You are violating such-and-such made up agreement that really means we don't like you!) I have lost my respect for the UN, I lost it back in August when they assigned this 'kick Jews out of Lebanon so we can party all night in Beirut, while Hizbullah smuggles more weapons in under our noses' group to 'guard' our northern borders.'
The question is, what can we, as individuals do about it?
By the way here's the link to the UN video
And here's the Arutz Sheva article:

The importance of the so-called "West Bank"

I hate the word 'settler.' Whenever I hear that word I get really angry! Why? Because what they call a settler, I call a true a hero of the Jewish people. There was a group of people who returned to Homesh today, one of the communities destroyed in the 2006 disengagement, and they raised a flag there.
Just a flag
Such a powerful image, the Israeli flag. I see the flag and I think about 2000 years, a people without a homeland sticking together, sharing a dream, and finally creating one. There hasn't been a case in the history of the world like this one.
These people returning to Homesh, are that symbol, a symbol that has unfortunately been lost in the recent decades as Israeli politicians start to question the creation of the State of Israel, and in the process of trying to bring peace, are actively destroying it.
What people like to call 'settlers' and 'settlements,' I like to call the residents of Biblical Israel. Because most of biblical Israel is in this 'West Bank,' as people like to call it. Hebron, the Temple Mount, Beit El, these are all places that are in land the Arabs claim as theirs. So no wonder our secular politicians are willing to give it up. They're so obsessed with trying to wipe religious Judaism off the map, they are blind to what that means politically, and to their precious secularism. The Arabs know that this land is important, in fact they know the whole land is important, that's why they want all of it.
They want it for religious purposes as well, the Koran says that once a land has been under the rule is Islam (which means 'submission,' by the way) it will always be under Islamic rule. The fact that Israel exists in a place that used to be Islamic land drives the Arabs crazy!
What I want to say is that we, as Jews, have to start accepting out religion more (make aliyah:) but in the meantime we have to realize that the only way we're ever going to win this war is going to be through Torah and Mitzvot, not through armed conflict. One day the Muslims will wake up and change, but what is going to happen if they change and we don't?

Your money's been stolen and how the world will look in 50 years

Back on my Israel/Middle East rant, the Palestinian finance minister reported yesterday that $700 million that was given to the 'Palestinian people'/crybaby Arabs, somehow 'disappeared.'

That's right, DISAPPEARED!

Why is the international community is wasting so much money by giving it to these people? and it's not because they are bad bookkeepers. Do you want to know what's happening to this money? It's going to buy WEAPONS! WEAPONS! WEAPONS! And the small amount that is left over is going into the lining of the pockets of the 'pathway to "peace' Hamas! The reason that the finance minister probably announced this fact was because he didn't feel that he got his fair share! I wouldn't be surprised if there was a news story next week how the PA finance minister 'mysteriously' was killed in his sleep.

But here's the real killer, the money that is supposed to going to help the poverty stricken people was never intended to reach them. Oh, and by the way, that's your money that is 'disappearing.' Your tax dollars are funding this, whether you live in the US or in another Western nation, our leaders are going to continue to donate money to these terrorist organizations.

In the meantime rockets continue to rain down on Sderot, the terror organizations that surround Israel are preparing for war again, and the world's governments continue to look on. To think that the major threat that people are talking about is global warming, which could theoretically happen in a few years, but the fact of the matter is that there is a threat RIGHT NOW! And no one is standing up to combat this situation. The US is in Iraq, whoop dee do. Israel is under a NUCLEAR threat from Iran and North Korea sits in the background, quiet and unnoticed.

When are the people and governments of the world going to realize the actual threat that is looming over the horizon. Islam is a religion of patience, and it always has been. We are on the verge of an Islamic takeover of the world and we are sitting here and idly twiddling out fingers waiting to see if the situation will work out by itself. The time to act IS NOW! BEFORE we can't stop it. Bibi Netanyahu put it very well, "It's 1935 and Ahmadinajad is Hitler." The world sat back then and the repercussions are becoming apparent today, in a new ideology. . ."Holocaust denial."

The question is 50 years from now, will out kids be learning about how a tyrannical dictator slowly gained power while the world did nothing, or will they be learning about how the world finally took the initiative and stopped evil before it could take root, and destroy countless lives?

Hamas=Fatah

I came across something that I found very interesting today involving our 'moderate' friends, Fatah that are so willing to make 'peace' with Israel and live alongside them in a 'peaceful' coexistence.
In the western world, Hamas is considered a terrorist organization, for the most part. There are radicals that consider these terrorists to be 'heroes,' heroes for blowing up innocent men, women and children. For instence Imam Musa, who says those exact words in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XPE6XpkQQU
This is a clip of him being drilled by Sean Hannity, definitely worth watching. I may not agree with Sean on some things but when it comes to the Middle East, terrorism and islamofascism, he knows exactly what he's talking about.
Back to the Fatah issue. . . Tamar Yonah read this blog post on her show yesterday
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/3
and I think that the point of this article was to show how much Hamas wants to destroy Israel and how radical they really are. But wait! As you read through this going, uh huh, the truth hits you. . .this is the Fatah Charter! That's right! As Tamar said the only difference between Hamas and Fatah, is that one of them wears suits, and the other looks more 'Arab!'
Something to think about when the western media talks about the moderate Fatahh.

Iraq, So-Damn Insane, and Israel

I'm reading a book right now for English called 'Baghdad Burning.' It's by a fellow blogger who lives in Baghdad and has been documenting what life has been like there since America came in, back in March of 2003.
My thoughts on the Iraq War: Well, I'll admit before I started taking this English class I didn't really know anything about it. My perception was, America went in the liberate the Iraqi people from the dictator Saddam Hussein (who thank G-d is dead and hopefully rotting in Hell for all the horrific things he did). My perception of Saddam goes back to the Gulf War, when he was firing missiles on Israel. When I was young I remember that I had a punching bag of Saddam Hussein (a very graphic one with his pants falling down in the back) with a sand base, so that no matter which way you hit it, it always landed the right way up. I grew up with the image that Saddam Hussein is bad, so therefore, the country he runs must also be bad. I am now hopefully more mature in my thinking and I know that issues in the world are not black and white (although I wish sometimes it was). I know about the horror stories that came out of Iraq, how Saddam's political enemies, or really anyone who opposed him, would disappear in the middle of the night. They found mass graveyards filled with the bodies of the people who Saddam torchered, one of the methods that he liked to use was to send people feet-first into meat grinders, not a pleasant thought.
The blog that we're reading by Riverbend (you can google that) puts you in the house of a girl who describes pre-war Iraq as well as current Iraq. She describes how pre-war Iraq was pretty much like any other society, with modern cities, colleges, and people just wanting to live their lives. Now that America has gone in, she describes how everyone's lives have been turned upside-down. She was a database worker in an Iraqi firm, now she can't even go out alone for fear of being abducted and raped. This has to do with the dissolving of the Iraqi police force, who used to patrol the Iran-Iraq border. Now that they no longer exist, the Muslim extremists from Iran are coming over by the thousands and are taking over Iraq.
Now my whole take on this is kind of mixed. I feel sorry for the Iraqi people, I really do, but what were they doing when Saddam was firing missiles on innocent Israelis? Thank G-d no one was killed, but they should be happy that Saddam is gone because he was more of a threat to the Iraqi's than America ever will. Granted, now they have to deal with the religious fanaticism on the street, so it really is a lose-lose situation.
What can I say? I hope Iraq can rebuild its country, I hope they can rebuild it and become a great friend of Israel and America, but if Riverbend's opinion is the same as most of the Iraqi's I don't see how that will be possible

Introduction

Hi! I'm trying to fix the world! OK OK, you probably want to know something about me. I've decided to (at least for now) to remain anonymous, but I can give you some basics. I'm a frum Jew living (at the moment, I'll explain later) in an undisclosed location on the east coast of the United States.

I'll be honest, I don't want to be here.

By the title of my blog you can probably guess what my ultimate goal is. With all of the problems facing every corner of society, it sometimes is a breath of fresh air to hear a different point of view.

I am an Israeli through some strange bureaucratic law that probably was left over from the Turks (I blame everything on the Turks by the way). But I'm proud to say that I am an Israeli, but first and foremost, before I'm an Israeli, before I'm America, I am a Jew. I am proud to be a Jew and I am proud of my homeland. Obviously there are a million things about Israel that are messed up (is that politically correct?), but I love the fact that it exists and that I have an Israel to (right now) visit. I will (please G-d) be making Aliyah between sometime between next summer and June 2009, but for right now I'm stuck in America.

Now I'm going to talk about this 'peace in the Middle East' issue. I know that it's been said that if Israel goes back to the '67 borders that this will bring a magical 'peace' to the area.
That's B*******************(alony)!
The Arabs want Israel to be destroyed and they are using the ploy of the '67 borders to push their agenda. The PLO was founded in 1964, 3 years before 1967. They were founded to liberate 'Palestine,' if the '67 border are 'Palestine' they there should have been no reason for the PLO to be formed because Yesha was in the hands of the Arabs when it was founded.
Not that I have any animosity towards the Arabs, I'm sure there are many wonderful people in that 'group' but their government is something that really need work.
This gives you a pretty good idea of where I stand in the world. Be prepared for some shocking news, alternative opinions, and a little thing I like to call 'the truth.'
